Description Sign, "Exit", Self-Adhesive, 8 in. X 12 in., Glow-in-the-Dark Red lettering on phosphorescent background Will glow for up to 8 hours after darkness occurs. Very visible in normal lighting. Cycling from light to darkness does not "wear out" the phosphorescent feature. Non-radioactive, non-toxic phosphorescent material used to achieve "glow". Methods of Excitation: Incandescent, flourescent and black light as well as direct/indirect sunlight. Visible to night adapted eye at 100 ft. for up to 8 hours after darkness. Adheres to non-porous surfaces. Can be applied to porous surfaces (cement block, brick, unpainted drywall, etc.) using Sign-On adhesive . Glow signs do not meet NFPA 101 requirements.
