The following events are taking place soon under the banner of Hope 08 or Alpha.
HOPE08 : Sunday 31st August 2008 Hope 2008 Festival
A major Hope 2008 event has been organised for the Nottingham Old Market Square on Sunday August 31st. Worship starts at 10:30am for 11am and the preacher will be Rt. Rev. Tony Porter (Bishop of Sherwood). This is followed at 12:30pm by the Hope Festival of Arts, Music and Faith. This will feature Paul Field, The Flame, Trent, Freddie Kofi and BritGos tm.

ALPHA : Training Day - Derby - 13th September
At New Life Church, Normanton Road, Derby
Starts at 9:30am with registration and finishes as 3:30pm
The day will be led by Jean Lupton who is the Alpha coordinator for Derbyshire.

ALPHA : Business Alpha Nottingham starts 26th September
For the third year running, the Business Alpha Nottingham Team will be running a lunchtime Alpha Course at the Nottingham Council House from 1pm to 1:55pm. It is aimed at business people working in the city. Speakers will include Frances Finn (BBC Radio Nottingham), Matthew McFarlane (Chief Inspector, Nottingham Police) and Alasdair Kay (Ex-paratrooper, French Foreign Legion).
