The Nottingham Trent Valley Circuit is the result of a merger between
the Nottingham West and Long Eaton Circuits of the Methodist Church
in Great Britain. We joined together in September 2003, because we
believe that together we will be better able to fulfil our calling under God.
 

The calling of the Methodist Church is:

"To respond to the gospel of God's love in Christ
and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission"

Our mission is to embody that calling in the neighbourhoods we serve -

from the inner-city areas West of Nottingham city centre, Lenton and Radford;
through Wollaton, Beeston, Bramcote, Chilwell, Stapleford and Toton;
across the county boundary into Derbyshire:
Long Eaton, Sandiacre and Breaston.
